California High School Volleyball - Milpitas nudged by King's Academy

The Milpitas Trojans volleyball team (Milpitas, CA), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA)

The Knights (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Leigh (San Jose, CA). The Longhorns enter the non-league challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Leigh nipped Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA), 3-1, in a league bout.

The Trojans now own a 8-15 record. They play next when they travel to Westmoor for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. Milpitas will play a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Woodside (Woodside, CA). The Rams record now stands at 2-16.
