The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) and the host Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL), saw Lexington's volleyball squad beat Rantoul by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Lexington upgrades its record to 15-11 on the year. The Minutemen host Fisher (Fisher, IL) to play the Bunnies in a Heart of Illinois bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Bunnies go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Fisher won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Ridgeview (Colfax, IL)

The Eagles now own a 10-15 record. They play next when they travel to Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. Rantoul will play a Falcons squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to LeRoy (LeRoy, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 4-16.
