The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 35-0. Dike-New Hartford won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA)

The Lions now own a 17-10 record. They play next when they travel to Dowling Catholic for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. Linn-Mar will play a Maroons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Maroons record now stands at 16-3.
