The San Joaquin Memorial Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Los Osos Grizzlies to 1 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Panthers now have a 17-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bonita Vista for a non-league game on Saturday, October 7. San Joaquin Memorial will confront a Barons team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Quartz Hill (Quartz Hill, CA). The Barons record now stands at 7-15.

The Grizzlies (7-25) will now prepare for their game against Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA). The Eagles enter the Baseline game with a 19-7 record. In their last game, Etiwanda held off Upland (Upland, CA), 3-1, in a league game.
