The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Mormon Trail Saints (Garden Grove, IA) and the host Seymour Warriors (Seymour, IA), saw Mormon Trail's volleyball squad beat Seymour by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Mormon Trail upgrades its record to 15-2 on the year. The Saints host Twin Cedars (Bussey, IA) to play the Sabers in a Bluegrass bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Sabers go into the bout with a record of 10-13. Twin Cedars won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Meskwaki Settlement (Tama, IA)

The Warriors now own a 17-6 record. They play next when they host Orient-Macksburg for a Bluegrass bout on Tuesday, October 10. Seymour will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-8.
