In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Princeton Day Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Newark Academy Minutemen.
The Panthers (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Irish come into the non-league battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Notre Dame achieved victory over Hopewell Valley Central (Pennington, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Minutemen clash with the Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 12. Newark Academy will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record.
