The Oregon City Pioneers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Sheldon Irish to 1 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Pioneers now have a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tigard for a 6A Three Rivers game on Tuesday, October 10. Oregon City will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lake Oswego (Lake Oswego, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 8-8.
The Irish (18-8) will now prepare for their game against Valley Catholic (Beaverton, OR). The Valiants enter the non-league game with a 13-4 record. In their last game, Valley Catholic held off De La Salle North Catholic (Portland, OR), 3-0, in a league game.
