West Virginia High School Volleyball - Philip Barbour over St. Albans

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV) volleyball squad were winner over the host St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Colts face the Robert C. Byrd Eagles (Clarksburg, WV) in a Big Ten contest, on Tuesday, October 10. Philip Barbour will attempt to better on its 24-7 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 14-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV).

With the loss, St. Albans moves to 5-16 on the year. The Red dragons travel to Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV) to face the Tigers in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 7. The Tigers go into the contest with a record of 26-6. Shady Spring lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV)
