The Underwood Rockets topped the host Pierz Pioneers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Rockets now have a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillcrest Lutheran Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 10. Underwood will confront a Comets team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Rothsay (Rothsay, MN). The Comets record now stands at 9-4.
The Pioneers (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Pequot Lakes (Pequot Lakes, MN). The Patriots enter the Granite Ridge test with a 16-3 record. In their last test, Pequot Lakes gained a win over Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN), 2-0, in a non-league test.
