The Waubay/Summit Mustangs volleyball team (Waubay, SD), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Pine Ridge Thorpes (Pine Ridge, SD)

The Thorpes (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Little Wound (Kyle, SD). The Mustangs enter the A Region 7 challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last challenge, Little Wound went down by St. Francis Indian (St. Francis, SD), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Dell Rapids Quarriers (Dell Rapids, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Waubay/Summit will attempt to move on its 1-19 season record. The Quarriers enter the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD).
