The Port Allen Pelicans volleyball team (Port Allen, LA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Vinton Lions (Vinton, LA)

The Lions (12-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Port Barre (Port Barre, LA). The Red Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Port Barre went down by West St. Mary (Baldwin, LA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pelicans encounter the Baker Buffaloes (Baker, LA) in a challenge, on Monday, October 9. Port Allen will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Northeast (Pride, LA).
