Kansas High School Volleyball - Thunder Ridge can't hold off Rawlins County

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Rawlins County Buffaloes volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Thunder Ridge Longhorns.

The Buffaloes (12-16) will now prepare for their battle against Golden Plains (Rexford, KS). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 10-13 record. In their last battle, Golden Plains was edged by Northern Valley (Almena, KS), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Longhorns encounter the Trego Golden Eagles (WaKeeney, KS) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 7. Thunder Ridge will attempt to advance on its 7-19 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the battle with a 12-10 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS).
