California High School Volleyball - Ripon over Vanden

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA) and the host Vanden Vikings (Fairfield, CA), saw Ripon's volleyball squad beat Vanden by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Ripon upgrades its record to 24-5 on the year. The Indians travel to Hughson (Hughson, CA) to play the Huskies in a Trans Valley League bout on Monday, October 9. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 15-8. Hughson won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Central Valley (Ceres, CA)

The Vikings now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Vacaville for a Monticello Empire League bout on Tuesday, October 10. Vanden will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Miramonte (Orinda, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-10.
