The Sheldon Irish volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Valley Catholic Valiants to 0 in the Irish non-league victory on Saturday.
The Irish now have a 18-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roseburg for a 6A Southwest game on Tuesday, October 10.
The Valiants (13-6) will now prepare for their game against Portland Adventist Academy (Portland, OR). The Cougars enter the 3A Lewis & Clark game with a 2-9 record. In their last game, Portland Adventist Academy gained a win over Paradise Adventist Academy (Paradise, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
