The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV) and the host Sherman Tide (Seth, WV), saw Winfield's volleyball squad beat Sherman by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Winfield upgrades its record to 15-14 on the year. The Generals travel to Clay County (Clay, WV) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Clay County won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Midland Trail (Hico, WV)

The Tide now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Ravenswood for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 17.
