The Burlingame Panthers edged the host Capuchino Mustangs flag football team by a score of 20-18 in Monday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS (San Mateo, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, October 9. Burlingame will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The FIGHTING KNIGHTS enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 35-7 league win over Terra Nova (Pacifica, CA).

The Mustangs (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlmont (Belmont, CA). The Scots enter the challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Carlmont held off Sequoia (Redwood City, CA), 25-13, in a league challenge.
