The crowd at Monday's league contest between the St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) and the visiting Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets (Los Angeles, CA), witnessed St. Paul's flag football squad knock off Sacred Heart of Jesus by a tally of 12-0.

The Swordsmen (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Ramona Convent (Alhambra, CA). The Tigers enter the Santa Fe contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Ramona Convent was toppled by St. Mary's Academy (Inglewood, CA), 52-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Comets battle the St. Mary's Academy Belles (Inglewood, CA) in a Santa Fe contest, on Wednesday, October 9. Sacred Heart of Jesus will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record. The Belles enter the contest with a 9-2 record after their 36-6 league win over St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA).
