The North Star Cougars soccer squad scored 6 points and held the host Greater Johnstown Trojans to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Monday.
The Cougars now hold a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Windber for a Inter County - South bout on Tuesday, October 8. North Star will play a Ramblers squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Ramblers record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, Greater Johnstown moves to 0-8 on the year. The Trojans host Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA) to play the Red Devils in a Laurel Highlands bout on Thursday, October 10. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 5-5.
