The Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA) volleyball knocked off the visiting The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA), 2-0 in Monday's league bout.

The Flames now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Grove Christian School for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 8. Eastern Mennonite will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 2-0 league win over The Carmel School (Ruther Glen, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, The Covenant drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA) to clash with the Gryphons in a bout on Thursday, October 17. The Gryphons come into the bout with a record of 5-7.
