The Avon Eagles soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Mentor Cardinals to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.
The Eagles now possess a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Avon Lake for a Southwestern bout on Wednesday, October 9. Avon will play a Shoremen squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH). The Shoremen record now stands at 11-3.
