The Lions (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL). The Rams enter the non-league battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Mt. Vernon by Highland (Highland, IL), 10-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Orphans battle the Massac County Patriots (Metropolis, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 8. Centralia will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 10-6 record after their 2-2 non-league Salem (Salem, IL).
