Fans at Monday's league battle between the Somerset Eagles (Somerset, PA) and the visiting Greater Johnstown Trojans (Johnstown, PA), saw Somerset's soccer squad triumph over Greater Johnstown by a count of 9-1.

The Eagles (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA). The Hilltoppers enter the Laurel Highlands 1 battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Westmont Hilltop notched a victory over Richland (Johnstown, PA), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Central Cambria Red Devils (Ebensburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands 1 battle, on Wednesday, October 9. Greater Johnstown will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Red Devils enter the battle with a 3-11 record after their 3-2 league win over Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA).
