Next, the Hornets clash with the South Harrison Bulldogs (Bethany, MO) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 8. Chillicothe will attempt to advance on its 17-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 16-10 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Penney (Hamilton, MO).

The Eagles (0-16) will now prepare for their test against Northeast Nodaway (Ravenwood, MO). The Blue Jays go into the non-league test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Northeast Nodaway prevailed over DeKalb (DeKalb, MO), 4-3, in a non-league test.
