The Fredericktown Black Cats overwhelmed the visiting St. Clair Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 13-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Black Cats meet the Perryville Pirates (Perryville, MO) in a Class 3 District 1 challenge, on Monday, October 7. Fredericktown will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Pirates go into the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to DeSoto (DeSoto, MO).
The Bulldogs (3-14) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Pius X (Festus, MO). The Lancers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record.
