The Preston Pirates edged the visiting Sperry Pirates softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates meet the Oktaha Tigers (Oktaha, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Preston will attempt to upgrade on its 33-5 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 31-7 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Sequoyah (Tahlequah, OK).
The Pirates (20-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Washington (Washington, OK). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 25-4 record.
