The St. Francis Borgia Knights triumphed over the host Ursuline Academy Bears softball squad by a count of 18-4 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Knights play the Sullivan Eagles (Sullivan, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. St. Francis Borgia will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 12-13 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Sherwood (Creighton, MO).
The Bears (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Joseph's Academy (St. Louis, MO). The Angels enter the non-league challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, St. Joseph's Academy overcame Hazelwood West (Hazelwood, MO), 7-6, in a non-league challenge.
