Michigan High School Volleyball - Alpena tips Sault Area

The Alpena Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Sault Area Blue Devils to 2 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.
The Wildcats now possess a 1-17 record. They play next when they host Petoskey for a Big North outing on Wednesday, October 9. Alpena will play a Northmen team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Everett (Lansing, MI). The Northmen record now stands at 17-8.
With the loss, Sault Area drops to 5-10 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI) to play the Chiefs in a Lake Michigan outing on Thursday, October 10. The Chiefs come into the outing with a record of 9-12. Cheboygan lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Kingsley (Kingsley, MI)
