In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Brockport Blue Devils volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Wayne Eagles.

The Blue Devils (2-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastridge (Rochester, NY). The Lancers come into the Section 5 Monroe County IV challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Eastridge was beaten by Canandaigua Academy (Canandaigua, NY), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Geneva Panthers (Geneva, NY) in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Wayne will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Spencerport (Spencerport, NY).
