In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Los Angeles Romans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Fairfax Lions.
The Romans (18-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson (Los Angeles, CA). The Democrats come into the Exposition challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson lost by Diego Rivera (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Fairfax will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Gondoliers come into the challenge with a 29-4 record after their 3-0 league win over University (Los Angeles, CA).
