The Garden Spot Spartans volleyball squad (New Holland, PA), was defeated 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Twin Valley Raiders (Elverson, PA)

With the win, Twin Valley improves its record to 10-2 on the season. The Raiders host Exeter Township (Reading, PA) to encounter the Eagles in a Berks County battle on Tuesday, October 8. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 6-4.

The Spartans now own a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manheim Central for a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 battle on Tuesday, October 8. Garden Spot will encounter a Barons squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Cocalico (Denver, PA). The Barons record now stands at 7-6.
