Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA) and the host General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA), observed North East's volleyball team top General McLane by a count of 3-0.

The Grape Pickers (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern (Albion, PA). The Wildcats enter the District 10 Region 4 contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Northwestern notched a victory over Girard (Girard, PA), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Lancers battle the Fort LeBoeuf Bison (Waterford, PA) in a District 10 Region 5 contest, on Tuesday, October 8. General McLane will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Bison enter the contest with a 7-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Fairview (Fairview, PA).
