In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] Wolverines volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Greenway Raiders.
The Wolverines (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN). The Thunderhawks come into the non-league challenge with a 15-9 record. In their last challenge, Grand Rapids beat Byron (Byron, MN), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Raiders meet the International Falls Broncos (International Falls, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Greenway will attempt to upgrade on its 9-17 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 1-18 record after their 3-0 league loss to Littlefork-Big Falls (Littlefork, MN).
