North Carolina High School Volleyball - Hiwassee Dam bounced by Swain County

The Hiwassee Dam Eagles volleyball squad (Murphy, NC), dropped 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC)

With the win, Swain County improves its record to 14-5 on the season. The Maroon Devils travel to Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC) to encounter the Black Knights in a Big Smoky Mountain 1A battle on Tuesday, October 8. The Black Knights go into the battle with a record of 15-6. Robbinsville won 3-1 in their recent league battle against Murphy (Murphy, NC)

The Eagles now own a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blue Ridge Early College for a Little Smoky Mountain 1A battle on Thursday, October 10. Hiwassee Dam will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Highlands (Highlands, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-7.
