The Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) volleyball knocked off the visiting Tri-Point Chargers (Cullom, IL), 2-0 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Minutemen now possess a 17-5 record. They play next when they host Deer Creek-Mackinaw for a Heart of Illinois bout on Tuesday, October 8. Lexington will clash with a Chiefs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL). The Chiefs record now stands at 17-9.

With the loss, Tri-Point drops to 6-18 on the campaign. The Chargers host Armstrong (Armstrong, IL) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 8.
