The New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Loyola Crusaders to 0 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Monday.

The Greyhounds now have a 8-13 record. They play next when they host Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop for a Tomahawk outing on Tuesday, October 8. New Ulm Cathedral will play a Thunderbirds team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Springfield (Springfield, MN). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 1-15.

With the loss, Loyola drops to 3-21 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Le Sueur-Henderson (Le Sueur, MN) to play the Giants in a non-league outing on Monday, October 14. The Giants come into the outing with a record of 7-15.
