In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Thomas Dale Knights volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Manchester Lancers.
The Knights (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA). The Generals come into the Central challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Dinwiddie beat Prince George (Prince George, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.
Next, the Lancers meet the L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) in a Dominion challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Manchester will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Skyhawks come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Richmond City School of the Arts (Richmond, VA).
