In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Wilde Lake Wildecats volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Mt. Hebron Vikings.

The Wildecats (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Reservoir (Fulton, MD). The 'Gators come into the Howard County challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Reservoir edged Long Reach (Columbia, MD), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings play the River Hill Hawks (Clarksville, MD) in a Howard County challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Mt. Hebron will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 3-2 league win over Glenelg (Glenelg, MD).
