The Thornton Wildcats topped the host Perspectives/IIT Wolves volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Wildcats face the Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL) in a Southland game, on Tuesday, October 8. Thornton will attempt to advance on its 6-8 season record. The Raptors go into the game with a 9-15 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL).

The Wolves (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Orr (Chicago, IL). The Spartans go into the Chicago Public Blue North game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Orr went down by Wells (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
