In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Regina Dominican Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Taft Eagles.

The Panthers (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodlands Academy (Lake Forest, IL). The Wildcats come into the Independent challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Woodlands Academy beat Willows Academy (Des Plaines, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public Super challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 9-15 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 8-15 record after their 2-1 league win over Chicago Washington (Chicago, IL).
