The Wootton Patriots volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Whitman Vikings to 0 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.

The Patriots now have a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Magruder for a Montgomery County 2A/3A outing on Thursday, October 10. Wootton will play a Colonels team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD). The Colonels record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Whitman drops to 6-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD) to play the Screamin' Eagles in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 9. The Screamin' Eagles come into the outing with a record of 2-9. Seneca Valley lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD)
