With the triumph, Marquette moves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Eureka (Eureka, MO) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-4. Eureka lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Rockwood Summit (Fenton, MO)

Next up, the Lancers confront the Northwest Lions (Cedar Hill, MO) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, October 8. Lafayette will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record.
