The Groves Rebels flag football squad scored 7 points and limited the visiting Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs to 0 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rebels now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Savannah Arts Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. Groves will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 27-0 non-league win over Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Savannah Arts Academy (Savannah, GA). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Savannah Arts Academy tipped Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA), 27-0, in a non-league test.
