Academy at Palumbo Griffin (Philadelphia, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters (Philadelphia, PA), 6-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Academy at Palumbo advances its record to 8-1 on the campaign.

The Railsplitters now have a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a PPL - Independence bout on Thursday, October 9. Abraham Lincoln will play a Lancers squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush (Philadelphia, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 7-1.
