The Panthers (2-11) will now prepare for their outing against Nicholas County (Summersville, WV). The Grizzlies go into the outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, Nicholas County was edged by Capital (Charleston, WV), 3-0, in a league test.

The Patriots now have a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they host Pocahontas County for a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. Midland Trail will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Braxton County (Sutton, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 9-5.
