Nevada High School Volleyball - Douglas tips Churchill County

October 7, 2025: Minden, NV 89423

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV) and the visiting Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV), saw Douglas's volleyball squad nudge Churchill County by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Douglas improves its record to 12-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV) to encounter the Miners in a battle on Tuesday, October 14. The Miners enter the contest with a record of 2-3. Bishop Manogue lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA)

Next, the Greenwave meet the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) in a contest, on Friday, October 10. Churchill County will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Vaqueros enter the contest with a 3-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Dayton (Dayton, NV).
