Lane Tech Champions (Chicago, IL) boosters were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Kenwood Broncos (Chicago, IL), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Champions (37-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgewood (Norridge, IL). The Rebels come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Ridgewood lost by Taft (Chicago, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Broncos now sport a 1-8 record.
