Mountain View Mavericks (Meridian, ID) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Ridgevue Warhawks (Nampa, ID), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Mavericks (13-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Owyhee (Meridian, ID). The Storm come into the test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Owyhee was edged by Rocky Mountain (Meridian, ID), 2-0, in a league test.

The Warhawks now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meridian for a game on Thursday, October 9.
