In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Moline Maroons soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Alleman Pioneers.
The Maroons (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hononegah (Rockton, IL). The Indians go into the non-league outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Hononegah DeKalb (DeKalb, IL), 1-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Pioneers play the Illini Bluffs Tigers (Glasford, IL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 9. Alleman will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 10-4 record after their 1-1 non-league Limestone (Bartonville, IL).
