The Open Door Christian Patriots held off the host Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next, the Patriots face the Fairview Warriors (Fairview Park, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Open Door Christian will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Kirtland (Kirtland, OH).
With the loss, Cuyahoga Heights moves to 5-10 on the year.
