The Howard Lions soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Hammond Golden Bears to 2 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

Next, the Lions face the Marriotts Ridge Mustangs (Marriottsville, MD) in a Class 3A North II bout, on Friday, October 10. Howard will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Glenelg (Glenelg, MD).

With the loss, Hammond moves to 0-2 on the year.
